How it works

A simple view.
A practical next step.

GEMS puts useful hot-water information in front of the people responsible for your sites.

In your working day

Three steps to a clearer response.

01

See your sites at a glance.

Open the GEMS app or browser portal and sign in. Your account shows the sites assigned to you, so your team can focus on the locations they look after.

Start with the site overview, then open a cylinder to see the available readings and element condition.

02

Understand what needs attention.

The visual cylinder view connects water temperature with each element’s demand and measured load. History gives you context beyond the latest reading.

Where the available current readings support a fault indication, GEMS highlights the relevant element. Missing or outdated information stays clearly identified.

03

Plan the response with your team.

Use the condition and supporting history to decide what needs investigation and prepare a maintenance visit. You can give the engineer a clearer starting point before they reach site.

An earlier indication may provide time to act while another element is still heating, helping you manage the risk of a complete hot-water interruption.

Getting started

E2M helps you make it useful.

Tell us about your sites, the cylinders you rely on and who needs visibility. E2M will help you agree the monitoring scope and arrange a practical view for your team.

Common questions

Useful things to know.

Do I need the app to see my sites?

No. You can sign in to the client portal through your browser. The GEMS app offers a convenient phone view using your existing account.

Does GEMS replace a maintenance visit?

GEMS provides information to help you decide and prepare the response. An engineer still assesses the asset and carries out any necessary repair.

What does early warning mean?

For a cylinder with multiple elements, an individual element problem may be identified while another is still heating. The opportunity to respond depends on the condition, demand and available readings.

Can different people see different sites?

Yes. Client access is assigned to the sites each account is authorised to view. Contact E2M if your team or site access changes.
